A factory trial should answer whether your bottle line can make the required pack repeatedly. A short video of one attractive bundle is useful for orientation, but it cannot show sustained output, changeover work or reject handling. Agree a written trial plan for the automatic bottle web sealer before the demonstration.
Which samples should be used?
Provide production bottles, caps, labels, filled weights and film. If water is substituted for another liquid, document the difference because fill weight and handling may change. Include more than the easiest bottle size: test the format most likely to tip, distort or require adjustment.
State the bundle pattern and finished-pack acceptance criteria. Check that bottle count, orientation and seal position are correct. Define unacceptable outcomes such as separated groups, punctures, moved labels or damaged closures rather than relying only on a general description of good appearance.
How should performance be measured?
Record elapsed running time, good bundles, rejected bundles and stoppages. Note who loaded the line and whether an operator performed work that is expected to be automatic. Keep the incoming bottle supply representative; an artificially smooth hand-fed demonstration can hide accumulation problems.
Include a planned stop, restart and format change using the supplier's approved operating procedure. Record the adjustments and the number of packs needed to restore an acceptable result. Guarding and access procedures should remain in their intended production configuration throughout the demonstration.
What belongs in the handover record?
- Confirmed machine model, options and conveyor interfaces.
- Film specification and approved product recipes.
- Sample photographs and measured production results.
- Outstanding items with responsibilities and agreed next actions.
How is the factory result repeated on site?
Share the site utility and layout details with the installation team. Repeat the agreed checks after delivery using production materials. Use the bundle selection guide if a new bottle group is introduced; acceptance of one configuration does not prove performance for every future format.
